I have really only heard that theory for a few structures, including Stonehenge.
Europeans were much later btw. The pyramids of Giza were built 2000 years before ancient Rome or ancient Greece was even a thing and it was because of the seeming "impossibility" of the structures. I have never heard of ancient aliens mentioned for anything built in the ancient Chinese dynasties for example.
