There had been some amazing TV done it the last 20-25 years. Fargo, Animal Kingdom, The Sopranos, The Wire, Boston Legal, Game of Thrones (at the beginning), Dexter (at the beginning). Then you have Naked and Afraid, Here Comes honey Boo Boo, Dr. Pimple Popper, Wipeout, The Masked Singer. And a lot of show I though were quality back in the day don't hold up well. I thought Happy Days was the bomb. Just watched it recently and it wasn't all that.
