I know you put in a lot of work hunting for then copy and pasting all these uplifting quotes from much wiser people. However, since they are all about persevering and triumphing when the odds are against someone and they are faced with what should be an unachievable goal the quotes apply to the Hawks. A top seed winning is simply doing what is expected of them. Anything else for example a top seed losing even a game much less a series to a team that most thought wouldn't even make the playoffs needs quotes about choking or being pathetic and lazy.
Maybe your quotes were for Hawks fans. Was that your intention? To raise positive vibes in Hawks fans? It would be contrary to your usual smug snarky personality but I guess anything is possible. The Bruce Lee quote is especially apt. Hawks do fly and soar. Well chosen. I hope you enjoy your view from below.
