Heck no. Everything from here on out is destiny! Go Hawks! At this point, it is not gravy anymore. When my Knicks made their run in 1999, everything was gravy when they got past the #1 seed Heat, as a #8 seed. Once they got to the ECF, we felt we need to go all the way. We had a chance if Larry Johnson didn't get hurt for the Final. I was a Hawks fan when LeBron swept us in the Conference finals even though we had the best record in the NBA. I was a Hawks fan during the Dominique Wilkins years. I have literally waited over 30 years for this, and this is the first team I have ever seen that I think can not only make it to the finals, but win it. To say that I believe is an understatement. After all, I did put myself out there and say Hawks over Suns before the playoffs started, and for years have believed in the very young Trae Young. After the mediocre Lloyd Pierce's coaching, I was disappointed. I had Hawks making playoffs last season as a 7th seed, and it obviously didn't happen. This year, same crap, but then we got McMillan as coach and he set the ship right. And to prove I'm not a complete Homer, I consider Cam Reddish a bust. We got him as part of the Trae for Luca deal, and while he didn't play a lot this year, he was a top 10 pick and isn't even as good as Heurter who is also from the same class. I want to be clear....I am not denying Luca's talent...I just thought at the time and now that Trae was better...an opinion even most Hawks'fans didn't have at the time.
