Well it certainly helped the careers of the following: RDJ Chris Hemsworth Chris Pratt Tom Hiddleston Scarjo Scarlett was already an established and respected actor , it just helped her bank account Agreed. My the time the MCU rolled around she was already famous.
The MCU really helped RDJ. He's very talented but also near his third legal strike. American system, 3 strikes and you're done. The MCU put his credibility back on the map. Thor too was put on the map by these movies.
I actually agree with all of those except Scarlet Johannson (although it obviously didn't hurt) and RDJ, but only because the MCU launched him into the stratosphere. It didn't just help him, it made him immortal. Similarly with Chris Evans.
I'd also say Tom Holland, Batista (he was greatly helped, especially while transitioning from wrestling), Brie Larson (despite winning the Oscar, Captain Marvel is what made people realize Brie Larson's been working for ages, like playing opposite Ramona Flowers for a minute in Scott Pilgrim v the World).
A lot of people grew fat and popular off the MCU.
