Hit and miss.
The Sixth Sense 8/10. Not exactly a "re-watch" sort of movie. For me, the moment I caught on was when the psychiatrist chased his wife's new romantic interest, the latter of whom drove off without apparently seeing him. It all came together in that scene.
The Village 8/10-There were two puzzles, or secrets, and while we know what the obvious one is, the secret the adults keep, that sidetracks us from the secret involving the younger generation. Kind of clever. And the logistics work well.
Unbreakable 3/10-snooze fests get 3/10
Lady in the Water 2/10 Preachy bit of hate. Like MASH, the story gives us a throw away Frank Burns character that just looks like the story teller "wants" to believe these are the characters, but only a two year old could buy into it. The story itself is goofy, too. It's a movie that rationalizes and preaches "scapegoating" That's as dangerous as it gets against Humanity.
