I wouldn't count the Bible, but how many movies are adaptations of the entire Bible anyway? Very few.
They are almost always movies about sections of the Bible, often New Testament stuff. I guess if you went with just the New Testament, then you would be able to count any movie about the life of Jesus. That would be quite a few.
