I have to say, Paradise Island was not as impressive as Asgard.

(SPOILER: SORRY I CAN'T INSERT THE TAG FOR SOME REASON)

And then it becomes Thor.  She discovers her powers of a god like heritage and fights of a character the literally calls brother. Not to mention her homeland and asgard have obvious comparisons as hidden paradises with nostalgic sensibilities.
