It's a great fun film, and carries the tones of Captain America: The First Avenger along with the fantastical quality of the first Thor. And it's honestly on that sort of level as well. I quite enjoyed it. There's absolutely nothing wrong with it, but it is not the best comic book film in the last 10 years, and while it is vastly superior to anything in the DCU so far, it does not eclipse the upper crust of the MCU. I am however, looking forward to the sequel. Nobody likes you. You're ugly and your mother dresses you funny. |
