Mike, I haven't seen many of these serials, but I did see and enjoy The Adventures of Captain Marvel--only partially because of the quality, the other part because I remember finally finding it on DVD and watching it with my grandfather, whose favorite superhero was by far Captain Marvel, about whom he told me several times ("And then Billy would say, 'Shazam!' and turn into--Captain Marvel!"). Some wonderful memories.
