No thread up so here it is.
Netherlands and Czech Rep have won two each of their last four competitive meetings (in September 2004, and in 05, 14 & 15 - with the Czechs winning the last two meetings) since the classic June Euro 2004 group stage meeting which saw starting line-ups including Cech, Poborsky, Rosicky, Nedved and Baros for Czech and Stam, Cocu, Van Nistlerooy, Robben and Seedorf for Netherlands, and what a game it was, Netherlands going two up through Bouma and Van Nistlerooy (clearly offside but allowed the goal) , Koller pulling one back for Czech before half-time. Second half goals from Baros and Smicer on '88 saw the Czechs become the first nation to go through to the knockouts, going out to eventual tournament winners Greece in the semis - Netherlands losing the other semi-final to Portugal.
