Plus the wrinkle of Lois Lane's dad, General Lane, being Superman's father-in-law and grandfather to Superman and Lois's kids gives the show even greater depth and dramatic conflict and catharsis.

We've already seen Superman deal with the challenges of being a superhero, being in love, and being a husband.

Seeing Superman deal with the challenges of being a father is icing on the cake.

I stand by what i wrote.
