They're both very good. The 2011 remake was one of the most unnecessary, superfluous remakes I've ever seen of a film I didn't think needed it at all. It was so soon after the original, yet I think it's one of David Fincher's best movies. Rooney Mara was incredible, Daniel Craig is standard (which is good)...
Its arrival after the original so soon throws me to this day, but I also think it's better. Just a tad. Rooney Mara could have retired off that movie if it's the only movie she ever did.
