French-Belgian actor Fernand Guiot has left us at the age of 88, on June 26th. A popular “face” of the cinema, he is maybe best known for his role of a stupid inspector of the Guide Duchemin in L'aile ou la cuisse ( The Wing and the Tigh) 1976 by Claude Zidi. For the big screen, he was recruited by Jean Girault ( Panurge's Sheep), Robert Dhery ( The American Beauty), Louis Malle ( Thief), Marcel Camus ( The Atlantic Wall), Philippe Labro ( The heir) and Coluche ( You Won't Have Alsace-Lorraine). He is remembered by News in 24R.I.P. Fernand Guiot
