Probably nothing special. We use to have a big family picnic every year on the 4th, complete with a big fireworks display, but no family left living close, except my Mom. She use to do most of the cooking, but everyone else brought something too. Miss the homemade ice cream!! She has dementia now and my dad is gone. Brother and sister don't live close and neither do their kids/grandkids.
