So as far as I know movie theaters in the US are 100% back open. However, new movies that have been released are not doing as well as pre-pandemic movie releases. We are still technically in a pandemic (even tho many like to act like it's over). How much do you think the pandemic is effecting peoples willingness to go to the movies versus them just not wanting to go for other reasons? Like you said, the pandemic is still on, even though a lot of people act like its not. So yes, a lot of people are still going to stay away. Also, lets be honest, the movies that would pull people into theatres in the numbers you're talking about haven't come out just yet. Black Widow and Fast 9 will tell the tale.
