Meet Joe Black was awful. That movie had literally ONLY two things going for it.
1) Brad Pitt looks like a young god in that movie.
2) The trailer for Star Wars: the Phantom Menace played ahead of it.
That's it. Its awful. Even if Anthony Hopkins started eating people that couldn't save it.
And speaking of remakes, Anthony Hopkins as Hannibal Lecter reminds me that Michael Mann's Manhunter is superior to Brett Ratners Red Dragon, even though Red Dragon has the superior cast. Sadly, wasted on a hack director.
