I usually pick the fifties films, but in this case, it's one of the "lesser" fifties movies. And the modern Broken Arrow is one of the more inspired, original of modern movies.
If one didn't know the year, one would think the years were reversed.
I like the 1996 version better, but not by a great margin. It's the best movie I've ever seen Travolta in. The 1950 Arrow is one of the lesser movies I've ever seen Stewart in.
