I'm vaccinated. I haven't stopped doing anything I would normally do post vaccination, but I still wear a mask when I'm inside public spaces. The truth is the vaccine is not 100% effective. Not yet anyways. You can still get it. Yes, I know the chances of that are very small. But why even take a small chance at contributing to an even larger problem? A big reason why we keep having problems in the US is because many refuse to get vaccinated. They are starting to have a huge problem in Arkansas because not enough people are getting vaccinated. Until we stop seeing this, I'll do my part and mask up inside. It's really no big deal. thehill.com/homenews/state-watch/561040-arkansas-reports-highest-one-day-covid-19-case-spike-in-4-months Yeah, but neither is the flu shot 100% effective. True, it isn't. I get a flu shot every year. A few years ago I did end up getting the flu. But Covid is seemingly more dangerous than the flu. It spreads faster and easier. There is also a stronger risk of damage to your lungs. I also gotta be honest with you, I'm considering adapting mask wearing during flu season. When I got the flu it sucked. I was stuck in bed for two weeks. The first week I couldn't even move. I really don't want to go through that again. If experts say masks can help reduce transmission of the flu then I'm gonna have to seriously consider using them every winter.
