2010. Rare for me to pick a remake over the original. Even though they are almost word for word replicas, I thought the Coens did a better job. Wayne was good but he done better. TG was in the "Funny Fat Man" stage of his career. McClintock!, Big Jake, Rooster Cogburn. Entertaining, but not up to Red River or the Searchers. Kim Darby was so irritating I was rooting for the rattlesnake.
