I would've wanted a more Bond style approach... Meaning something that isn't a blatant reboot but rather just a new movie within new actor and a slightly different creative direction. As someone who loved the Raimi series I am not interested in a "definitive" version. I just want new movies with new villains.
To speak specifically to what we've seen so far: I wanted a solo adventure that's at least relatively unconnected to the rest of the MCU, not a "Spidey auditions for the Avengers" story. Also the humor and tone just feel wrong to me. It feels forced and awkward. I do however like the villain choice. Vulture played by Keaton is the silver lining.
