Quakes are not good for one's state of mind, or nervous system. So, of course you should complain! 
Glad that you folks are OK.
The heat wave is supposed to be considerable, even along the coast. However, I heard one report of 2 possible rain storms for next week. Rain in July? Now that's climate change.
