What's amazing to me is how many performers were multiple Oscar nominees without repeating directors:
For example: Meryl Streep was nominated 21 times and only repeated with ONE DIRECTOR?
Does that mean that she was Oscar nominated with 20 different directors.
I guess it does.
That makes me think even more kindly about her career than I did before (without this information).
While searching, I saw this pattern over and over with many performers.
Jeff Bridges--7 nominations--no repeating directors, etc.
