Temperature is very important, and most waffle makers won't hold the temp. I bought the Presto Belgian waffle maker and it makes excellent waffles.
Most of the time I use Aunt Jemima Pancake & Waffle Mix, I buy the 5lb box.
Good recipe from scratch. For Belgian Waffles I had to increase milk to 1.5 cups.
