Are any of you gonna check this out? I think I will. I'm not really expecting much from it, but I love seeing the Looney Tunes characters again. On paper it has me wondering who the target audience is? People that saw and like the first film I guess . A younger audience? Do children today know what Looney Tunes is. Are Bugs, Daffy etc as popular as they were decades ago? Is LeBron James a name that can draw in a international audience? Much like Jordan, outside the US, in many countries, he's a known name but I reckon there is a big gap between the people knowing who he is and those who actually watch what he does on the basketball court. Basketball isn't quite the most viewed sport in the world - depending on where you look and how it is worked out it seems to be between the 3rd and 9th most popular but waaay behind football (soccer) and cricket. Having said that, I'm sure more people now have seen James on TV than Jordan back in the day. When I was younger Jordan was more know for his sneakers! I'm sure his popularity in the States alone though will make it successful enough.
