82 has cheesy, nostalgic fun. 2011 is a better overall movie. (Granted, I always liked the second Conan movie better than the first) 82 is not cheesey, it is gorgeously made and very brutal with a great score. It is a quality production, remake just looks like straight to video schlock Sorry, it might be expensive/lavish costuming, but it's still cheesy. But good cheese.
