If you think a horror movie made before 1990 doesn't have a remake or sequel, you better check and make sure.
There are TV remakes, TV sequels, direct-to-DVD remakes and sequels and many are very under the radar. Even the obscure Australian horror movie Long Weekend (1977) has a remake. It's Alive has sequels that are well-known, but it also has a remake that most people aren't aware of.
