I found it lyrical and profound. I wouldn’t call it cheesy with the exception of ‘Do you want to live forever?’ especially when it is repeated in the absurd scene when the Veleria spirit saves Conan’s life in the final battle, but even then I thought that the scene had earned that indulgence and was actually very beautiful.
