Find me one person on this board besides you and me who doesn't have at least one issue with Spider-Man Homecoming based on the marketing. i'm not down on it. this is still poised to be the first True to Print budgeted live action Spidey. something even the great Sam Raimi couldn't quite nail. i mean, the poster sucks, but who cares. the worry that Iron Man will be a moviehog is understandable but i get why they've included him. the most troubling thing for me is Sony and their nebulous amount of involvement with the project. i'm still salty about those hackjob ASM films. I agree with you regarding Sony's involvement but, credit where credit is due, they gave us two f the best super-hero films ever made (Spider-Man I and II). If Homecoming turns out to be bad, I'm not going to lay the blame solely at their feet. It's obvious that Sony and Marvel rushed Homecoming into production but, I think they've done a hell of a job in establishing a tone and direction that has never been done before and yet still feels true to the character. It's by no means a literal translation but, it suggests the spirit of the early comics and I think that's commendable. SaveSaveSaveSave
