I prefer the Beastmaster to either film.
But if I had to choose I’d go with the 82 version even though I’m not a huge fan. It’s a sweaty nightmare dream of a film. Has the audio always sounded funky? It seems like at least portions of it were dubbed. At least it did on VHS and DVD. The remake was okay but I wasn’t a big fan of the scene where Conans dad performs a c section.
