Twins recently offered CF Byron Buxton a contract similar to what the Yanks gave Hicks - 7 years and $70 mil - reported to be over it If he rejects the offer the Twins may look to trade him - Baseball Insider Jon Heyman states - 'The Phillies would be at or near the front of the line if Byron Buxton becomes available.' I like it. I do. He had a 2.9 WAR with only 103 at bats this season. The problem is, he has too many of "those" seasons. Seven seasons now and he has only topped 300 at bats once. What do you give up for somebody who inarguably has great talent but can never seem to stay healthy?
