I only knew her from Gilligan's Island and then one day I caught SAPPHO--THE WARRIOR QUEEN I think it's called-- the 1960 peplum she did-and she comes into it on a chariot and I could see why she felt she was slumming with Gilligan--because she had done movie star roles. I saw one of those noir films she did--with Richard Widmark and a Matt Helm film.
NIGHTMARE IN BADHAM COUNTY --she's unrecognizable. A sadistic white trash prison guard--but she does such a good job. Very anti-Ginger in appearance and attitude. Took me a while to realize it was her.
She was also in the tv sequel to Rosemary's Baby.
It was jarring she wasn't in the Gilligan's Island reunion movies.
But she did appear on a talk show with all the castaways in 1988-1989. When I saw it--wow--there she is with the others.
And when Alan Hale Jr died she was the one Entertainment Tonight got comment from.
