We traded him on Draft Night in 2013 to the Pels for Nerlens Noel and the Pels 2014 1st Round Draft Pick
With that 2014 1st Round Draft Pick - Elfrid Payton - we traded that to the Magic for the 12th pick and selected Dario Saric (now on the Suns)
And just look at where we are now, eh? 
Don't feel bad. Not just Jrue. But Chris Paul used to play for the Pelicans/Hornets. And Monty Williams used to be our coach.
