Disney+ might have had something to do with it, but I'm pretty sure it's more that the movie just wasn't that good combined with the fact that we're still not completely out of the pandemic yet. A movie like this would have probably made about $500 million in a non-pandemic world - which is fairly standard as far as their origin movies go. It's already made $250 million in just 2 weeks.
