Speaking of remakes/re-adaptations

I’ve actually only seen Death Takes a Holiday. When Meet Joe Black came out I’m pretty sure my friends and I dismissed it as a “chick flick”. Although I’ve matured slightly over the years (maybe?) I never bothered to check it out. I will state that I much prefer Brat Pitt as he’s aged. Back to thread I think it’s definitely true that IMDb scores are skewed towards newer films based off of what I think is their typical users nowadays. I know I quit looking at it much once the forums were shut down. I think most folks that watch classic film probably left the same time.
