I’ve actually only seen Death Takes a Holiday. When Meet Joe Black came out I’m pretty sure my friends and I dismissed it as a “chick flick”. Although I’ve matured slightly over the years (maybe?) I never bothered to check it out. I will state that I much prefer Brat Pitt as he’s aged. Back to thread I think it’s definitely true that IMDb scores are skewed towards newer films based off of what I think is their typical users nowadays. I know I quit looking at it much once the forums were shut down. I think most folks that watch classic film probably left the same time. In the case of most skewed towards newer films, that might be true in some cases, but most remakes have lower (often much lower) than the originals on IMDB. I have all the IMDB ratings listed here.
