Unless you are that person's physician, or other health/fitness advisor, you don't. Why you would need to talk about this "big person." If he/she is a close friend, and asks you about personal thoughts, relative to weight/health, you talk to, him/her. Surely, you can do this with a friend, without being rude. The OP isn't saying they are gossiping about the person. The OP is talking about mentioning the person to another person. This happens a lot. If there is someone you don't remember their name from work and you are trying to find out their name from another co-worker. You have to describe the person in order for the other person to figure out who you are talking about.
