I could see darts when compared to shooting, but not archery. There's considerably more strength and stamina involved in pulling and aiming a bow and arrow than throwing a dart. Oh yeah, definitely more strength required for Archery. But the point I was trying to make was that Shooting requires a gun / rifle, archery requires a bow, whereas darts is simply you and your bodies mechanics. It's more pure a sport in that sense even if the perception is that it has no place in the Olympics. Shooting and archery are just as much about body mechanics as they are about the thing firing the projectile. Like I said earlier, I don't have an argument against darts as a sport that couldn't easily be countered by some of the sports that are already events. But you're doing shooting and archery a disservice by suggesting it's more about the equipment than the athlete.
