But you're doing shooting and archery a disservice by suggesting it's more about the equipment than the athlete. I wasn't attempting to disparage Shooting or Archery in any way. Merely attempting to defend Darts by pointing out it has exactly the same body mechanics - precise aim and power judgement - as the other two but is commonly laughed off for being a "pub game" or whatever. And yes, in terms of not having a targeting instrument, despite the poor perception some people have of it, it is more pure. I guess in the same way I'd view cycling as more pure a sport than moto-gp. But I certainly wasn't putting archery or shooting out of the Olympics sports equation...
