Reading through Rodgers comments above sure as hell tells me he is a damn good and loyal teammate. Willing to possibly be looked at as a villain by many (tons of GB fans were turning on him) in order to stick up for his teammates previously and currently.
The whole "shut up and play" aspect of how he was treated had been clear for a while. That team having a CEO and Board of Directors instead of an owner things are different. That team is ran like a business and not a team. So all the players are not viewed in the same sense. They're viewed more as replaceable cogs in a machine. They needed to adapt or die as Brad Pitt put it in Moneyball. I sure hope they adapt.
