A person has the pivotal characteristic of maleness - the Y chromosome, and has the high levels of the sole ‘male’ hormone - testosterone, does their physical appearance of having a vulva, vagina and breasts plus normal levels of the ‘female’ hormone - oestrogen.
Based solely on those criteria - are they a man or a woman and why ?
