Remember him well - his movies on TV all the time in the 70s - I was big on 300 SPARTANS when small! I guess A SUMMER PLACE was his biggest hit, although I don't think he was the reason it was a hit. VIOLENT SATURDAY maybe his keeper  SPLIT SECOND wasn't bad ... nor SLAUGHTER ON TENTH AVENUE and THESE THOUSAND HILLS   Can't recall if I have seen POMPEYS HEAD or not. DAY OF THE WOLVES is a neat B heist movie from 1971 with Martha Hyer (her last) and Rick Jason This one was a US TV movie but I think it was released at cinemas abroad. Again was televised a bit in UK.   His juvenalia included  THE BIG CUBE offers the brave viewer the opportunity to see Lana Turner forcibly injected with LSD...  My father loathed him "too many teeth" was usually the reason given when pressed.
