2021 MLB trade deadline thread

If the Giants don't collapse, this is one of the most overachieving (for lack of a better term) team in my lifetime. Looked on as a solid 3rd place team, just because the D-Backs and Rox are garbage. Now in 1st over the big spenders, Dodgers and Padres. And with what? Yeah, Buster Posey and Brandon Crawford are having great seasons. But Mike Yaz isn't. Their pitching? Kevin Gausman, who looked like a true draft dud. O's rushed him, he bombed in Atlanta and Cincy. Took a cut to go to Frisco and he finally became the 4th overall pick. It happens, look at Lucas Giolito. But Anthony DeSclafini? He was a disaster in Cincy. Now 10-5, 3.10 ERA (7.22 last year) and 1.041 WHIP (1.693 last year). Even the manager was a dud, but he never really got a chance in Philly.
