As of 2020, this is one of precious few films from Hollywood's golden era that has not been released in any home video or streaming format. It remains unavailable to the viewing public.
Dana Wynter was said to have remarked, "I have a difficult time remembering this film, especially when fans tell me they have enjoyed it, because of the fact it had a different title in just about every country it played in."
Dana Wynter's first feature film under that name, having previously been credited as Dagmar Wynter.
Dana had just done a LAURA remake for TV with Robert Stack & George Sanders and POMPEY was her first lead after half a dozen years in Brit movies in bits.
