Why is Australia so good at sports?

14 golds already. They only win 8 golds at each of the previous two summer games.
Could break their record of 17 set in 2004 in Athens.

And we're in the Top 5 (for the time being) in the Medal Tally. Been a LONG time since that last happened.
After not doing so good at either London or Rio it's awesome to see Australia doing so well at an Olympic level again. We've also improved in athletics a tremendous deal, something we've never done as good in.
