They're not. Hollywood is largely because it gave up on what used to be the "30 million" budget films which were costly but they took chances with to go for predictable fare for 18-25 year olds. Maybe a turn to streaming from box office release will once again allow Hollywood to raise their game and take some chances. Does the world really need one more super hero movie?
