Imdb was shut down to protect the Hollywood ideology machine

I don't believe IMdB boards were shut down because of a lack of demand or trolling or because all the action is moving to social media.   Hollywood's primary function is ideological and there were too many people on those boards subverting tinseltowns attempts to programme us to thinking and feeling the way they want.
