No, but we could make more films for thinking adults, who have certainly been let down by the American studio system this century. You have to look far more to non English speaking movies to find that. Playing it safe never makes for great art Zos, you claim to want more thinking adult content, but you're failing to be an example of a thinking adult yourself who seems unable to find those types of films either on streaming or otherwise and they are definitely there. This is the same stupidity that I encounter on film forums. Log on to your local cinema website and use that God given brain of yours to navigate through the choices, you live in London the centre of the arts, not the outer Hebrides. Silly argument, or course I can, I love my subscription to BFI, but if they aren't encouraged and given general release then others can't see them so easily. And why the snobbery, people outside big cities have just as much right to go and see movies that don't all feature men in tights.
