Brussels Sprouts are 0ver-Heated

I think that folk who understandably are repulsed by them may have possibly had parents like mine who boiled them for too long, thus creating the vomit-like taste and stench.
My girlfriend showed me that if just blanched , they are a different tasting, altogether more plasant tasting part of a   dish altogether.
Bit like movies LoL
