I preferred Black Widow over Captain Marvel, it had a lot more going for it in terms of visual style, action set pieces, and actor chemistry and had some interesting ideas that just needed a rewrite or two to improve upon, Captain Marvel felt like a great big TV movie, its storyline wasn't anything to write home about and the titular character had almost no character arc to speak of.
