2010 - 6/10
I like a lot of stuff about the 2010 version (cinematography, sets, costumes, score), but it has some things that hold it back from fully working. Too much CGI and I don't care for the writing of the Anthony Hopkins character.
I like all that stuff too. The issue is, I didn't care about the characters at all and it isn't very suspenseful, interesting or dramatic. You know my thoughts on Joe Johnson as a director, and this is one of his most uninspired movies imo.
